This book gives the story of Anne Bolyn from her perspective or what it might have been. The stories tells of her family and how she ended up in King Henry V's court and eventually became the King's mistress and wife. It brings in her relationship with her sister, other ladies in the court, as well as her "flings" leading up to becoming queen.
I really liked this book. I enjoyed reading what might have been Anne's thoughts and feelings throughout her rise and fall. Carolyn Meyer did a good job in bring history and fiction together.

I enjoyed this book as a young teen and I enjoyed it as I read it again now. A nice YA novel.

Doomed Queen Anne is an easy and fun read for those interested in royal history. It is meant for a younger audience and reads as such throughout. Don’t expect to be challenged intellectually by this book (I wasn’t, and that helped me enjoy it!). At times, it seemed a tad slow and repetitive. However, Meyer takes care to get names, dates, and most of the history correct. I’m looking forward to reading through her other novels.

Not terrible…kindle version terribly transcribed

The book was okay. Throughout the kindle version, it’s obvious that they just scanned it in and didn’t proofread the works. “lie” becomes “he” and so forth. It happens often enough to be distracting.

I did not like this book because it had some things that I would rather keep out of my mind.

Wasn't as good as the Elizabeth or Marie Antoinette book.
