Read it all in one day because it was interfering with my ability to adult. Gripping and fun fantasy, but also sad and true (and strong and hopeful) underneath that.

The style of the narrative was brilliant! The story was fun and empowering, but the best part of the book, was the main character, and her way of seeing the world. She was so real but completely mythical.

What a weird and wonderful book. I cannot explain it to you, because you need to go in and experience it for yourself.

I have no words to describe how much I loved this memoir mixed with magic realism and so much bad-assery. I almost couldn't stop listening to this brave and magical story. Highly recommended.
