Good continuation and end of the series. I am left wanting when it comes to the ending though. I think I’m just biased because I really enjoy Thrawn, but his death just seemed lackluster. Yet, ya gotta appreciate the man accepting his death with such elegance.

As always, Zahn wrote well and told a good story.

The swashbuckling continues! Kinda contrived plot developments and a messy final confrontation get in the way of a satisfying ending for me, but the Thrawn/Mon Mothma/Leia vision for post-ROTJ New Republic shakiness will remain a big fun takeaway to think about, and I loved this way of thinking about Luke's new Jedi vision.

This book concludes an excellent trilogy extending the stories of Luke, Leia, and others. This one was especially suspenseful and gave some great commentary on the politics of the New Republic world. Great read!

This was a pretty satisfying conclusion to the Thrawn Triology. I did find Thrawn's death a little unsatisfing even if it was "artful". But that's my only gripe. I thoroughly enjoyed the intrigue, characters and adventure.
