So glad this was my first read of 2024, but sad at the same time that it's over. Jo and her boys will hold a place in my heart and head forever. Millsaps does an amazing job with these characters and I can't wait to gobble up another book by her.

*I received an ARC of this book from the author and her publisher in exchange for an honest review*

This is the final installment of the Boys of Lake Chapel series - and it was the perfect way to end it.
who saw that twist with Cap's dad coming?! Because my jaw DROPPED
. As always, the spice was *chefs kiss* perfect, and has definitely added to my own list of fantasies. While I do think the plot went a little slower in this book, it was a nice change of pace for the series and made me appreciate the book that much more. I also really appreciate that she went more in depth with chronic illness and the bad times that go with them - the representation is very much appreciated. Jo and her men deserved the HEA they got...and the only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because I'm so sad it's the end!
