I really enjoyed that the main character was a female border control officer. And that she was bad ass, and didn't stop being bad ass even though she was finding love with her temporary undercover partner (no pun intended). I enjoy seeing a female protagonist be sensual and feminine in intimate situations, but is still willing to put on a wife-beater and shoot someone in the face. Not that shots to the face happened in this book but you know what I mean.

This book was fun but far too short to justify the deep love the h/h feel for each other. They've known each other less than a week--and been working a very dangerous undercover--and yet they become soul mates instantly. I also found the heroine to be portrayed primarily through her looks. She's supposed to be a top notch Border Patrol Agent and yet she's the hottest pole dancer ever, every man wants her, yadda yadda yadda.
