I enjoyed it, but for most of the runtime, you could basically hear each of the questions the ghost writer was asking between each passage. It builds to some pathos when speaking about Pat Morita, and it's clear through all the dressing how much Macchio misses Morita. A fair amount of this audiobook did feel more like advertisement for Cobra Kai (despite few onset stories) and other times the memoirs of Daniel LaRusso more than Macchio (The Outsiders only gets a brief nod, the story starts w Karate Kid, and ends with Cobra Kai just about), but maybe that just goes to show how much he identifies with the Karate Kid now.
