Loving Lucianna by Joyce DiPastena is a lovely, charming novel that combines romance (very tastefully done), family history/mystery/intrigue, and an honest look at what life in the medieval times would have been like. I loved all of the Italian names in this book, the fact that the main characters are falling in love in their "autumn," years as DiPastena calls them, and the main characters themselves. Coming it at just under 225 pages, this is a great read for anyone who is a fan of medieval/historical type romances that won't disappoint.
