This is classic Stephanie Plum. A quick and fun mystery with lots of humor and shenanigans thrown in. I laughed out loud a lot. And I didn’t figure out the twist on my own. A fun read. Just what I needed.

Another great addition to the series. She quit wot for the bond agency and still manages to have some one continually trying to kill her. So funny, my husband got a hold of one section and was cracking up.

Stephanie has finally taken more control of her life and not letting people push her around as much. Still the unresolved love triangle though. As always these books are entertainIng and a fun read.

"Stephanie Plum is thinking her career as a fugitive apprehension agent has run its course. She's been shot at, spat at, cussed at, fire-bombed, mooned, and attacked by dogs. Time for a change, Stephanie thinks. Time to find the kind of job her mother can tell her friends about without making the sign of the cross.

So Stephanie Plum quits. Resigns. No looking back. No changing her mind. She wants something safe and normal. As it turns out, jobs that are safe and normal for most people aren't necessarily safe and normal for Stephanie Plum. Trouble follows her, and the kind of trouble she had at the bail bonds office can't compare to the kind of trouble she finds herself facing now. Her past has come back to haunt her. She's stalked by a maniac returned from the grave for the sole purpose of putting her into a burial plot of her own. He's killed before, and he'll kill again if given the chance. Caught between staying far away from the bounty hunter business and staying alive, Stephanie reexamines her life and the possibility that being a bounty hunter is the solution rather than the problem. After disturbingly brief careers at the button factory, Kan Klean Dry Cleaners, and Cluck-in-a-Bucket, Stephanie takes an office position in security, working for Ranger, the sexiest, baddest bounty hunter and businessman on two continents. It might not be the job she'll keep for the rest of her life, but for now it gives her the technical access she needs to find her stalker. Tempers and temperatures rise as competition ratchets up between the two men in her life---her on-again, off-again boyfriend, tough Trenton cop Joe Morelli, and her bad-ass boss, Ranger. Can Stephanie Plum take the heat? Can you?" (From Amazon)

Another great fun read by Evanovich but are starting to all be the same. Same plot and it's getting a bit annoying between Stephanie and Joe.

This one felt a little weak, but still fun enough.

I seriously love this series! It's light, funny, fast and the characters are so enjoyable. The only downside is that in the last two books, Stephanie has gotten more head-strong with Morelli. I don't like when she argues with him just because she doesn't like being told what to do. That being said, in this book, Stephanie quits her job as a bounty hunter and tries her hand at several other jobs, all of which she looses within days of being hired. The problem is that Stephanie is being hunted by someone who has "come back from the dead" to hunt her down. So where ever Stephanie goes, trouble is soon to follow. Her cars are being blown up, as was one of her places of employment. Finally, Ranger gives Stephanie a job as a researcher at Rangeman and it is there that Stephanie is able to put the pieces together and find out who is hunting her down.
