This is the first in this series I read. I liked how this was written as a graphic novel for kids and the message is nice.
I received an ARC of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I think this is the most Depressing Mr Badger and Mrs. Fox book in the series. A great entertainer is coming for a show. But the entertainer makes fun of little fox. So little fox runs away and questions who she is. Does her dad love her? Is she really a fox? The little badgers try to exact revenge on the Wild Cat, but that goes awry. The story has a good message, but its not the fun romp that can be found in the rest of the series.

This is a sweet introduction to graphic novels with lovable characters battling against familiar feelings of not fitting in, what makes family, and trying to be something you're not, or to be okay with who you are. This would be a comfortable series for a young reader to cuddle into.
