3.5 it was an okay read for me, I personally just didn’t care for how it ended. Maybe in a different chapter of my life with a different mindset I would reread this and rate it higher but for now this is what we have.

3.5 stars but rounded up since I was engaged it in. I was surprised by the main twist, but some other plot elements felt predictable. The writing style was a bit obvious and immature, which is not something I come to expect from such an experienced and notable author.

I enjoyed every minute of this book, as much as you can enjoy a story about the hell that was the spring of 2020 in NYC. It's the first novel I've read that deals with the novel Coronavirus. I loved the protagonist, as always, Picoult practices excellent character development. So glad I read this.

Jodi Picoult. Every GD time. This fiction (but, like, is it?!) book is a story that HAD to be written. She brings us back to March 2020 when everyone thought Covid was a “passer” and would be over in 2 weeks. Everyone has their own “where were you at the beginning of the pandemic” story and this is hers. It is a thought provoking read that had me guessing until the very end.

Live your life. Stay in the moment. Because planning your life isn’t living.
