This one feels a bit more transitory than the previous one, which I feel was better. But it's still Monstress so it's a good 3, almost 3.5.

Thing is it felt like the explanation were lesser than the new "wtf is this, wut?" mysteries stuff. And since it's very steampunk fantasy with all kinds of intrigues and unexplained, it's not exactly hard to follow, but you feel a bit lost. And feeling a bit lost is good if there's some kind of balance in this genre, at least to me.

But, I'm veryyyyu excited to know more and dig deeper into Kippa and her whole deal. She's even more brave and cool now

3.5 stars but it gets rounded up because of the beautiful art style.

As the story develops I'm starting to understand whats going on more and loving these characters more and I cant lie and say that I wasn't already interested in the lore and this beautiful world created.

Although I've read somewhere that we still dont know how much more there is for this story to be over (and I can definitely tell that there is so much more to be told) I just hope I dont forget everything about this world before new issues are out (I know there are more than this one published rn I just mean when I finish those)

Great one, could have been an awesome read, but the fight scene at the end was really confusing. What did Maika do? How did they close that... that thing? It was like some pages were missing or something? Felt it that way at least. Weird...
Anyway, I really like this series apart from the all-girl characters, but at least it's really dark and brutal.

I literally started reading this over a year ago and just got around to finishing it. I absolutely love the artwork in these comics, but sometimes I get a bit lost in the story.
