Listening to the InuYasha OST and having a new ereader led me here 😂

Reading this manga is literally an impulse decision, but Inuyasha anime is one of my childhood faves! It's one that I always cherish and go back to. Now, I'm looking forward to reading the entire manga series (I'm gonna need a lot of energy and time for this 😆) and just immersing in the story.

Love this first one so far. The art is amazing and the storytelling is immersive. Like I love how the panels just draw your attention to the story or the current dialogue, even if a panel is as simple as it can be. Also lmao I almost always forget that some of the scenes here are traumatic for children 😭😂

Anyway, love Kagome. Inuyasha, you better treat her right 😤

I'm currently doing a read-through of all my volumes of InuYasha. I want to give fans a glimpse of how faithful the adaption of the anime is to the source material.

The Omnibus itself contains volumes (1-3) of the original manga series just with larger print and images of the original manga covers and additional illustrations in the back.

There aren't many changes from the anime and manga so far. The overall feel is still the same they just elongated scenes that were much shorter in the manga.  Some scenes like Kagome swimming to save the kid in the first few episodes don't happen but it added a comedic aspect to the anime.

The gore in the manga is a bit more intense than in the anime but not by much.

The mixture of comedy and intensity is great and knowing how much darker it gets in the series I look forward to seeing if by the end, I love the manga more than the anime. There were so many little moments that I just adored. Sometimes simply by the way it was drawn.
