idk why cause it's so teen angst but I just like it. the characters totally have more depth in the book than the film

This book is really problematic.

To begin with the Elle says that her and Lee are best friends. But to be honest it's such a toxic friendship. Noah Flynn is violent and toxic and its so glamorised and romantacised.

The protagonist is so cringey. This book had so much potential but this just wasn't it. I found it really concerning that a YA book romanticised toxic relationships.

The pacing was good though but the writing was immature.
