Lee was weirdly obsessed with his best friend and his brother breaking up also the father is strongly negative with the man that makes his daughter. The movie made Elle boring compare to her book counterpart she has more of a personality in this than she does in the movie.

This book is really problematic.

To begin with the Elle says that her and Lee are best friends. But to be honest it's such a toxic friendship. Noah Flynn is violent and toxic and its so glamorised and romantacised.

The protagonist is so cringey. This book had so much potential but this just wasn't it. I found it really concerning that a YA book romanticised toxic relationships.

The pacing was good though but the writing was immature.
