Bravo!

Such a small book with such a succinct impact.

I’m speechless. This book had my heart on a wire the whole trip through.  Who hasn’t ever felt any of the insecurities the two main characters had.

I stumbled upon this little short story by Jenkins while browsing for something to read.

I have loved every book I’ve read by Jenkins so far so thought a nice quick short story would be perfect for my current mood.

Told entirely through letters between two strangers and the two lovers, this short story details the repercussions on an illicit affair and ultimately the complex nature of one’s heart.

This is a tough subject for me due to some personal history but I found it quite fascinating to read.

How TJR can write such a beautiful story that absolutely captivated me and had me completely invested in the characters in under hundred pages is nothing short of brilliant.

I loved that this book was written entirely in epistolary format and my only complain is that I wanted more.

If you haven’t read this one I would highly suggest picking it up for a quick, but heartfelt read!
