Review:
Oh boy, this one was an interesting read. I actually struggled with it at first because the characters were just a bit too much for me, but after a little bit with them, their quirks and shortcomings were so endlessly amusing. Jacob is basically colour blind to red because he cannot see the red flags for the rippling muscles of the men he keeps *obsessing* over. And Val is a really sweet demon who is trying to assimilate on Earth and makes so many observations about humans that are just not quite right. Watching Jacob fall for Val was really sweet, and watching him try to teach Val how to be more like a human was just hilarious. The plot got a bit more intense and interesting just after the halfway mark, and I appreciated the resolution to that, as well as what Jacob ended up doing to get his demon. This was just an amusing story about 2 ridiculous characters helping each other to be somewhat less ridiculous.
