This a review/rating for parts 1 & 2 of Mother of Invention and Nnedi's interview with Levar in part 3. Absolutely loved the way Nnedi kept me engaged from the beginning to the end of this story. She pulled me in with great setting and writing that wasn't too flowery and gave not too much or too little information. I was on the edge of my seat listening and a bit stressed throughout about Anwuli and how she would survive with her baby. Levar's narration just added to the overall experience and was comforting. I also liked how he changed his voice depending on the character. The story and interview was a great introduction to Nnedi Okorafor and the subject of Afrofuturism. I definitely need to read some more of Nnedi's books.
