Beth had a life she was proud of until one moment ripped everything apart. Tending to her emotional wounds, Beth has made a new life for herself and found a temporary job as a PA for baseball phenom Rylan Cates. Beth was an event coordinator, not quite the same as dog watcher and secretary but she is willing to put her best foot forward.

With the help of Rylan's dog, Atlas, both Beth and Rylan find themselves forming a friendship and Rylan seeking out time with Beth aside from work. He knows it is not a line he should cross but everything with Beth feels right.

Such a feelgood story!
I found myself laughing out loud, moved and sometimes rasing a brow. It wasn't always the most logical or realistic (hence 4 stars and not 5), but who cares if it still gives you a good feeling :)
If you like a light read, a good laugh and sympathetic main characters, this story is for you.

This is such a cute read and I love it every time I pick it up again. It's got a setting that just wraps you up and makes you feel like you're in this cute beach town. A hero and heroine with so many sweet moments that you will be sighing. And one super adorable dog that is bound and determined for this pair to be together. I can't tell you how thankful I am that I can always come back to this book when I need it. No One Like You is a cute, summery, beach read that's also a sports romance rom-com!

No One Like You begins when Beth Avery gets the job of dog walking assistant to the famous baseball player Rylan Cates. She's running from her past and will only be in town a short while. And Rylan has things he has to do before the new season starts and he leaves town. But these two never expected to fall for each other during their time spent together. Now, neither one of them knows what to do next.

This book was okay. I really enjoyed the whole plot line! It was very interesting from start to finish. And I adored the two main characters as well. They were both very honest about their feelings and other things and it made them much more likable.
The downside to the story was at times it felt a little cut and dry. Kind of like we couldn't really "feel" what the characters were feeling, but just reading them. That made the story less enjoyable, and a little frustrating. Other than that though I liked the whole book. It wasn't as good as the previous book though.

"4 out of 5 stars, Beth has been running from her past and looking for a place to stay while saving up some money before she moves on again. Taking the job as Rylan's (Ry) personal assistant would be ideal, even though she's not a fan of dogs and he has four, so she accepts the position. During Beth's time working with Ry they grow close, very close, so close that she isn't sure she wants to leave when the time comes. However, is her feelings mutual? One of Ry's dogs will prove to her that they are...

I liked this novel. Really liked it! The characters were great! Ry's dogs, mostly Atlas, were AWESOME!"

This was really sweet, really sweet. I kept waiting for some kind of drama or something, but nope it stayed sweet, and I liked that. I really liked that.

Sweet. That should tell you everything there is.

But, Beth has a past which consists of idiots. You are better off without the for sure. She gets a job as a PA. She is perfect for it.

Rylan is a baseball player, with 4 dogs. This is important to know cos the dogs and especially Atlas takes center stage. Yes and I do realise that in a short time I have read 2 books with dogs named Atlas, and me not liking dogs, do love dogs in books.

Atlas is a smart dog and thinks Rylan should be with Beth. She makes great snacks! But Rylan likes blondes. Oh Rylan, silly man. But everyone else, family and friends finds Beth sweet.

And then they lived happily ever after :)

I enjoyed it. The small town, his fellow players. The attraction growing between Beth and him. The dogs. Very sweet.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I'll admit I don't read a lot of romance and that I requested this book based solely on the cute Great Dane on the cover and not the synopsis. I also didn't realize it is Book #4 in a series, but having read it, I can honestly say it didn't make this book harder to follow. Looking into it, I actually think they are companion series. Sometimes I find romance books don't have enough substance, but that was not the case with this book.

Beth is clearly running from something in her past when she agrees to be baseball star Rylan Cates' PA for 8 weeks. She is also pretty much hired because his four dogs, especially Atlas the Dane, immediately warm to her. Although the reader could easily guess Beth's secret, there is a twist which deepens the plot. As the book progresses, you learn how damaged Beth really is. While Angell could have made this an insta-love story, Beth and Rylan fight their attraction which makes the story more realistic and less romance-sappy (my own term). Now for the dogs - my favorite part of the story. Rylan is a dog lover and owns four - a Golden, 2 Dachaunds and 1 Great Dane. It is evident Atlas is the star of this book and his actions make the whole book endearing. Anyone who loves dogs would enjoy this novel, and I actually found their story as much as part of this book as Beth and Rylan's. The setting is another wonderful aspect of "No One Like You" and Angell did a great job of painting a cozy little beach town. The side characters add a lot to this story and leave you wanting more of Halo's story (which I think is the next book).

Overall, I am glad I read this book. I don't know if I would necessarily pick up the previous three, as the dogs were what drew me in to this one, but not for one minute do I regret picking up this one. This is a great book for those who love dogs, their relationships with humans, romance and small town life. Pick up a copy and meet Atlas the matchmaker, a dog I will never forget.

I can't decide between a 4 or 4 1/2

Rylan needs a PA to keep his life and most importantly his dogs' lives in order while he is home during the baseball preseason. Beth is trying to move past the worst day of her career and needs a fresh new start. Atlas the great Dane, just needs treats.

I do love a good story around baseball; especially this time of year. This was an easy read, nothing earth shattering and lots of feel good moments. For once the conflict was not so horrendous that it drove the couple apart - they were able to work through it and move on to their HEA.

I myself do not have pets but I just loved how these dogs were such a big part of the story.

This is definitely a part of a series but it was a perfect stand alone too. I am so glad I listened to my friend Pat and got this read.

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest review.
