How much these fictional characters love each other and love their kids, makes me want to believe in love. Ugh, it's literally full of swoon-worthy men. I love the mushy stuff. I teared up so many times.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I would die for Ryke Meadows. Top tier book boyfriend.

10 books. Over 1 million words. 6 of the most, at times frustratingly so, captivating characters I've read in a while. The most highlights and corresponding notes I think I've ever made in a book (I have my highlights posted on here, and, if anything, I make myself laugh with my little notes so feel free to browse them... I occasionally expose myself in those buggers).

"And then we end—we end where we started. Just us. All six of us."

That's the crux of it; these characters. To see them from the start, in college, all the way up to nearly middle-aged, to observe their trials, tribulations, successes, and love for each other over time, is why this series has such a high rating. If you make it this far into a series like this, you're invested. When given such a satisfactory and thorough epilogue to such an epic set of circumstances... well, it's all an invested reader can really ask for. It's something authors rarely give to readers because it usually comes at some cost of literary quality. That may have been the case here in some ways, but honestly, not that much. These books got better with each one, in my opinion, and it's not like you're reading these to complete an English lit degree, you know?

I’m thirty-seven. Just yesterday I was twenty and meeting some of these people—people that I’d spend my life with, that’d become my home. Just yesterday I was twenty—still deeply and desperately in love with my best friend. I grew older. We all grow older. In a blink of an eye, our children will grow old too. - Loren Hale

This was honestly just an in-depth log of our Core 6 and their endeavors to procreate. I mean, the chapters are literally broken up by birth announcements for all the various spawns. You know what? I loved it. Give me all the major life events within the context of birthdates. Set up those future novels. Milk this cow for all it's worth when there are so many, like me, that will absolutely soak up every word.

I won't get into the specifics on any characters, because I can't say anything much different than I've said in the past. Growth, relationships, siblings, Connor Cobalt is a man amongst men, etc. Reading about all of our Core 6 in terms of raising families, and their actual children's places in the story were lovelier than I could've anticipated. With this kind of thing, consider the authors to be securely in their bag.

If I could choose to be born into any fictional family, I would want to be one of the Cobalt clan. Perfect beyond words. The unfortunate reality is, I'd most likely be like Sam and Poppy's daughter, Maria: close enough to know what I'm missing, but too old and removed from everyone else to enjoy. But, as the literal queen and king of this series and lights of my life, Rose and Connor Cobalt, would say.... c'est la vie.

this book meant so much to me. there isn't a thing I would change about it. getting to follow these characters for one last time, a non stressful time where it feels like they are truly seeing that they can survive anything. parts of it felt like I was playing the sims and they're my little sims family that just keep having babies when things get boring (when the toddler ages up yk) but I loved every second of it. I feel so attached to all of their children and im excited to read the like us series, though I will need many moons to mentally prepare to see the kids grown up, cuz that means my sims are older. I sobbed my heart out at the end of this because I simply can't fathom the end. I have been reading this series for over a year and it is the first time I have ever felt this attached to characters, it truly showed me how much something like this could mean to me. This series has truly shaped my life, helped me come to terms with parts of myself and my friendships. I found myself within the pages of this story and im forever grateful to it, the fact I won't get to experience It for the first time again is too much for me to even consider. Thinking back to the very first book, how far every single character has come brings me to tears just thinking about it. It was the perfect send off, in that there was no plot, no major stresses, just a peak into what the rest of their lives will entail, it leaves me with great peace of mind to know that these characters will always have each other and I will always have these characters.

IT FINALLY GOT A RELEASE DATE IM SCREAMING

Update: 5/21/16

I tried reading this book as slowly as I possibly can and still here we are, I've finished.

Can I just say that Krista and Becca are gifts that keep on giving.

This epilogue novel is not necessary or needed but they gave it to the fans anyway as a present, as closure, and as a goodbye for the readers.

We have been with Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke for nine whole books. We have seen them at the lowest of their lows and their highest of their highs. This book is a ten year gap starting from the last chapter of Long Way Down and a great follow up to Damage Like Us (the next generation of this series).

This book is about the six people, their children, and their lives over the course of ten years. We get to see how Lily and the other channel work, children, family, friends, love, and so much more. We also get to see their children mature and grow and learn just like how we saw Lily, Lo, Connor, Rose, Ryke and Daisy have mature, grow and learn.

This has to be one of my favorite books of the series, because even though there is no "story-line" we get to experience this ten years span of life with the characters. I love all of the dynamics that have been given to us, we get to see more of each and every individual friendship strive and grow. We get to see each love story blossom and strengthen instead of wither away.

Krista and Becca both have this amazing ability to write and make me feel so much for all their characters. I love my original six and now I have come to love their children too. Do not tell me to pick a favorite because I don't know how. Krista and Becca have the ability to make me laugh with them, cry with them, smile with them, and feel their pain.

I don't know how the Ritchie Sisters have the ability to do this but I didn't lie when I say that this series is my heart and soul. Never have I been so emotionally attached to a book series or all of the characters. Every personality of every character is so uniquely their own.

I just couldn't ask for anything better and I am so glad that I was curious enough to check this series out.

Ten whole books about love, friendship, feminism, family and so much more. It's crazy to look back at Addicted to You to see where they are now but I am not surprised by their journey. I am very proud. And I will carry their stories, their love, and their strength with me wherever I go.

This book was such a gift from Krista and Becca and I couldn't be more happy or more grateful.

This read, this book, this whole entire series have been wholly perfect.
