I thought this was great: it's a different lens on evolution and a fascinating thought exercise. I couldn't put it down.

I liked it, an informative book. Only gripe is the way the author inherently uses men as the default, i.e. “women do x just as good as men”, as if men are the gold standard.

Researching from the standpoint of female reproductive history and evolution is fascinating, and opened up evolutionary history to me in so many new ways.

And any nonfiction book that keeps me wanting to read as much and as fast as I can is worth giving a high rating and spreading the word. I highly recommend this book!

This is the best non-fiction book I have ever read. What a fascinating take on human evolution.

Lots of interesting facts (and a lot of conjecture). Overall narrative was a bit of a snooze fest.
