The Proposal is the continuation of The Proposition, and I was very happy to see how Aidan's and Emma's story continued. They were a hot mess there for a while, but their actions were completely understandable.
Hotness galore, and relatable characters made this a good story.

I have been anxiously counting down the days till I could get this book on my kindle! Let’s just say that I was so impressed by this story and how it touched my heart after ‘The Proposition’ so thoroughly gutted mine with that cliffhanger.

In ‘The Proposal’ Aidan and Emma are dealing with the falling out that has put an end to their relationship. Aidan realizes the error of his ways and how helplessly and completely Emma owns his heart, but she is not budging.

Emma’s body starts succumbing to all of the stress of a broken heart in addition to being 6 months pregnant and a health scare from Aidan’s father and is promptly placed on bed rest. Aidan determined to regain Emma’s love and trust has her move in with him temporarily in order to look after her well-being of that of their future son Noah.

“But even more than the fighting Irish Fitzgerald blood pumping through him, he’s inherited the most amazing DNA from his mother. She’s the strongest person I’ve ever known.” His words, coupled with the sincerity in which he spoke them, caused a burning wildfire in her chest. “Oh Aidan,” she murmured. He brushed her hair out of her face. “You just have to keep being strong, Em. That fire that burns so deep within you-the one that’s seen you through the darkest times-you’ve got to stoke it to burn a little brighter.”

Yes ladies, Aidan has grown up. In ‘The Proposition’ he was melting our panties, but in ‘The Proposal’ he is melting our hearts. But don’t worry Aidan is still as sexy as ever. Especially when hot doctor Pash Nadeem sets his sights on Emma. Pesh is everything Emma has wanted. He is beautiful, thoughtful, successful and extremely romantic. And of course realizes this and feels the pressure to make her realize they belong together.

Emma’s reluctance to trust Aidan with her heart again sets in motion some intense soul-searching moments between the two of them.

“You’re not being fair,” she said. Aidan whirled around, fire burning in his eyes. “Excuse me?” “Can’t you at all empathize with what I’m going through? All this confusion I’m feeling about you and about us and all the uncertainness-you felt this too, didn’t you?” “Are you insinuating that what you’re going through right now is the same thing I did about committing to you?” “No it’s just-” Aidan held up a hand. “I’d think long and hard about making any comparisons, Em. Because in the long run, my confusion led me to screw up the most wonderful thing I ever had.” He shook his head sadly at her. “I wouldn’t want you to have to go through the same thing.”

Not wanting to give away TOO much away for those that are anxious to read I will just say that I loved this book. I laughed, I cried and I had hope. I will leave this post with a verse of ‘You Save Me’ by Kenny Chesney.

It’s hard lovin’ a man that’s got a gypsy soul
I don’t know how you do it, I’m not sure how you know
The perfect thing to say to save me from myself
You’re the angel that believes in me like nobody else
And I thank God you do

‘Cause when I’m a bullet shot out of a gun
When I’m a firecracker coming undone
When I’m a fugitive ready to run, all wild-eyed and crazy
No matter where my reckless soul takes me
Baby you save me

Well I tried attaching an image of my perfect Pesh but for some reason it isn't adding! This book was such a heartwarming sequel to a horrible cliffhanger that happened in The Proposition! I loved Aidan and Emma! They were soo cute! I loved how strong Emma was and even though she loved him she still stuck through it but gave him hell!
Back to Pesh! Ohhh mann was he dreamy! I really hope his story will be amazing. He deserves a really great HEA! I think Arjun Rampal would be the perfect Pesh! Search him up!

This was my least favorite in the series. I thought I was going to love it but Emma was so over the top unwilling to forgive Aidan which got OLD! She was even cruel to Pesh and Aidan because she couldn't make a decision to save her life. She actually invites Pesh over to Aidan's home to eat dinner with her then agrees to go on a date with Pesh picking her up at Aidan's?? She was only supposed to be there for 2 weeks so my question is why couldn't she wait until she went home? How damn inconsiderate could somebody be? She wasn't even smart enough to realize it was wrong. I came so close to just DNF'ing this book! The last 40% was the only reason I gave it 2 stars and the fact I'm intrigued with Pesh so want to read his story now. I'm just hoping it's not a mistake.

I'm so unbelievably annoyed by this book, Emma was a hypocrite and yet we were supposed to feel sorry for her? Right, so what Aiden did was bad but we are supposed to let Emma get away with it when she was doing the same thing under his nose and in his own home?!

Not ok and I can't believe it is getting good reviews.
