I'm not sure who the audience would be for this, the bunnies were hard to tell apart, and the whole "if he steals your scarf, it means he likes you" thing is a really uncool message for kids. Pass on this one.

Nice for K-2 kids dealing with first crushes. Not so relatable for preschoolers, but that's fine. Melissa Sweet's illustrations are delightful as always.

I always like seeing authors who can write for multiple ages. A cute story.

Ya this was weird. It's a picture book so aimed at a very young crowd but the behaviour seems more middle school to me. I dont like this outdated crush culture. And I hated that one of the characters was teased for being tall. Bleh

Giving this one two stars is generous. This is slightly complicated with the characters, despite looking like it's for young kids. The crush and teasing factor along with gifts also contradicts the pictures as well- who is the desired audience? I'll pass on this one for the classroom for sure. The only thing I really liked about the story is that the bully is told off (a little).
