Book was a fun read where characters get gobbled up by rats in interesting situations. However the book is definitely a product of it’s time regarding how the author writes about women which makes me question if he even met one aside from his mother (which I also have my doubts about). So yeah it’s a pretty mid book with not much to say aside from graphic gore and sex. Not going to continue with the series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book by James Herbert which was my second time reading it. A strange and intense story which although has not happened, could in theory!

3.5 stars. Almost want to give it 4. I couldn’t stop reading this. It was intense and uncomfortable as any good horror book should be.
