I really like this one and was so exited for the „Vergissmeinnicht“ reference because I read them before this one.

I had high hopes for this book, but maybe it was because I love that cover way too much not to have expectations about what was hiding behind it. If I really liked reading the story - it was entertaining, fast-paced, and definitely keeping you wondering about a lot of things -, I had a bit of a harder time with the plot execution and whole mystery behind it. I think I kept expecting there to be more: more mystery, more layers to the story, more world-building and development. In that area, I felt unfortunately a bit disappointed.
Still a good and enjoyable read though. Full review coming soon on Drizzle & Hurricane Books :)

Engaging, but creepy as heck. I got almost to the end, and then it got super creepy. I think that people who like horror-type books and mysteries with paranormal aspects would enjoy it, but I did not. I mostly read it because I recognized the author - I have read her Ruby Red trilogy, which was absolutely AMAZING - and so I picked it up. But like I said, too creepy for me, but the writing is genuinely good.
