This one was a different feel from the last two books. Where they focused on Ransom’s adventures on Perelandra and Malacandra, this one takes place entirely on Earth, and Ransom is very much a side character.
It was cool in that it takes the Sci-Fi ideas and brings them back home, and binds it with a bit of Fantasy. But I got into the books for Sci-Fi, so that didn’t quite hit with me.
Still overall a very interesting look at the ideas coming out of WWII blending with the ideas of Scripture and Sci-Fi.
