Starting almost right from where Six of Crows left off, Crooked Kingdom is an excellent continuation and an equally satisfying end to Kaz and his gang of misfits' story.

This book has the same fantastic character development, well thought-out story, wonderfully written scenes and dialogue, as well as the same great balance a darkness and humour of the first.

A beautiful and slighty bittersweet ending.

In short, if you loved the first book, you won't be disappointed with this sequel.

It is a good book but it took me so long to finish because I was EXHAUSTED by everything going wrong all the time!! On the opposite side of the ditch, it was almost frustrating to be reading and thinking everything’s crazy and wonky and then you find out it’s a plan Kaz pulled out of his butt and has been secretly planning for months in advance. There were good twists where I felt the fear and relief that Kaz actually knew what was going on but other times it was irritating.

Everything coming together in the end was satisfying but maybe the actual plot would’ve been less frustrating if there had been less plot points written. Idk. Good book, I’d recommend it - just be prepared to be in the dark the whole time.

Bardugo, you broke my heart and I still love you for it. A fantastic book. I loved every minute of it (even the ones I hated).

Frankly didn’t want the series to end. A beautiful wrap up to the duology, though I hope Bardugo does make a final installation for the Crows.

A wonderful mix of action and comedy, of moments of tenderness despite all the plotting/fighting/etc going on.

Bardugo writes in a way that feels like television. The character POVs end in what feels like episode cliff hangers, and as a reader, I can easily say some plot twists left me so surprised and always ready to read more.

Loved this set of character so very dearly, and this series was so enjoyable to read :,) Off to reading the next Grisha-duology!
