💭 The first half was a four star but unfortunately dropped to three. Okay, so I understand it is a romance book and sex is part of romance. But did there have to be like 5 chapters of just repetitive sex? 

💭 I will admit that the plot twist wasn't something I've seen a lot, but I haven't read a lot of romances so maybe it's a very common trope. I don't think it was as high stakes as it was supposed to be but it was interesting. 

💭 I think the book could have been concluded after the third act conflict and they made up - anything after that was rushed and unnecessary.

A reluctant 4⭐️. This was a really good rom-com (although the writing was not the greatest) for the first 70% and then it went downhill. The end was just kind of distasteful and repetitive, but I still did enjoy a majority of this book and I’ll read the rest of the series.
