Finally reading the books after watching the television show!

There's a LOT of differences. The main premise is the same, but the character cast in the books vs. the TV show is wildly different. Part of this means that the relationships are different, so that's been taking some getting used to also.

I love the different POV chapters! And I like how gritty the characters are. They're flawed but they're still likeable.

Not the worst sci fi, not nearly the best. Would have enjoyed more detailed action representation and less of relationship stuff.
Approved for fans of TV series, as the story and characters are barely the same.

Honestly, I don't know how I got to the end of this book. It is just awful.
From boring characters, boring plot, to the author's lack of understanding of how time works, this book has everything to make it bad.

I don't know how it got turned into a TV show, but I'm glad it was. The show turns this terrible writing into a good cohesive story, mostly by cutting away the bad parts of this book.

Enjoyable, simple read

I watched the show and wanted to read the books. So while I really enjoyed the book; it is very different from the show.

It is a good and simple read. I enjoyed it and it only took me a couple of days to get through it.
