This was very cringe and one of the characters was sooo annoying, too annoying — and it didn't help that I listened to this on audio and he was the second main character always talking to the main character called....Nadia... — but the full cast audio with sound effects was fun, they got a couple chuckles out of me, and I was intrigued to see what was going on. The authors' voice note at the end was fun too, though nearly as cringe as the book at times! 😅

Out December 12 [Thank you to Book Club Favorites for the gifted ALC!]
Performed by a full cast, this is the story of what happens when Nadiya and her half brother Chase witness a crime in her building—and then post about it on TikTok.
The production quality of this one was fantastic—I’m a sucker for a full cast audio, and this absolutely delivered. It was also incredibly funny but surprisingly heartwarming in parts. By the end, the characters had really grown on me, and I will definitely check out a sequel if there is one!
That said, I would just note that this is more of a comedic crime novella, so if you’re looking for a “serious” crime novel or thriller, this might not be for you. But if you want to laugh and spend an enjoyable few hours with a fun book, definitely give this a try!
Recommended to anyone, but especially if you like: comedy-meets-crime; full cast audiobooks; mafia romance (sort of, lol)
CW: death/murder/gun violence; kidnapping; mention of suicide and prior death of parent
