Definitely a little cheesy at times but fun. Didn’t love the overuse of “lady” even after they got to know each other (made sense in the beginning but not at the end). Her language aversion was also random. Cute and quick read.

So…this is a literary masterpiece and I loved everything about it! I love cheesy spy stories and that is exactly what this is.

Solid romantic comedy. Liked some of the character traits of the main character. Skipped the intimate scene which was disappointing. The banter was pretty good.

This was a fun read and I enjoyed getting to know more about Zoe and Sawyer and the chemistry between the two of them. The ending was a little muddled, but overall it was a good attempt for Carter to get into the adult book sphere.

She woke up in a pile of snow on a Parisian street. She couldn’t remember anything, but there is a super hot guy with a gun calling her Alex and telling her to run. The only logical explanation…she’s a SPY!! This enemies to lovers, opposites attract book follows him and her as they try to solve the mystery of who she is, why she is in Europe and why does everyone keep trying to kill her? I love the main female character, she is so funny and real, and I love how she trusts herself and how strong she knows she is.

Lighthearted spy romance novel which I enjoyed. A quick read and the audiobook was great. At times a bit cheesy, but still fun overall.

As always, Ally Carter knows how to write a fun engaging story that's about spies and adventure, but is actually just about people
