I love a friends to lovers trope. The whole town and side characters were cute too. This is definitely like a Hallmark movie in book form.

the vibes and the emotions were there but i kind of can’t commit to a rating bc of the way the town worships the police ew and also i knowwwww that some ppl r gonna be like omg queer police representation~ nuh uh.

This book was such a cute book! It got me right into the holiday mood and it was a good listen!
The character were great and the plot was good it was a hallmark movie in a book with all the feels. I loved the Christmas tree farm aspect and all the side characters were good.
I loved the Friends to lovers aspect of the book it was done really well and Luca and Stella were perfect for each other!
Overall I really liked this book it was such a feel good book!

Kind of your typical cheesy Christmas romance. Complete with your stupid misunderstanding. Not my favorite, and pick something different for people to do than "hum" all the time, also, "sucking kisses" are gross

A lovely story about fake dating your best friend. It does have a 3rd act break up, but it's resolved quickly with a happy ending. It's only Stella's POV for the story, but we get Luka's POV for the epilogue.

There is some swearing in this book, and the death of the FMC's mother is mentioned regularly as part of her backstory. It's mentioned that the mother died of cancer, but it's not covered in detail. The MMC's father died in a car crash, which is mentioned maybe twice - again, no detail. Both characters mention grief about the loss of their parents, but the point isn't laboured. The FMC's father is a serial cheater, but the story doesn't focus on this.
