Book 0 is very weak, but here in book 1 the story really takes off. Enjoyable plot development and subplots as well. It because really fun and it is well worth sticking with.

I feel like this book had so much potential and the story itself was great but it felt so rushed and so exaggerated. I like to feel like I am immersed in the book and that I am there but with how the characters were and again how rushed things were it felt not genuine. I don't know how to describe it.

This was an ok read. I went back and forth between liking the book and having a hard time wanting to read it. There are quite a few grammar mistakes

Fantastic read.

I kept coming back to read more and more about what was going to happen to Mary and Curtis. The small town vibe and it's cast of characters were also well fitted into the story.
