Certainly one of the best short stories I've ever read, particularly of the horror genre. I absolutely loved this story, so inspirational, loved the style of which it was written too. I have never heard of this story outside of "H.P Lovecraft's book of horror" anthology and I am struggling as to why?

Really good! Mysterious (though a little predictable), thrilling and scary. I loved that most of it is written in diary entry form.
