My biggest problem is the romance just had to be thrown in there. Like, I get that she destroyed an entire country. However, given what would have happened to the ruined, I get what Em did. In book 1 (middle of Olso attack) Cas realises the plan is to kill him, not take him somewhere for negotiations and that might have been a better plan that didnt end in so much death, but why did the romance have to get thrown in there to emphasise this point? I cannot get over the whole secretly working with him thing. I get it but it's also so annoying. Honestly, if she hadn't, Olivia would have never had to be the villian, which honestly just makes me sad because she's so obviously a teenager who's get uncontrollable killing powers and handling what she went through badly.
