It's time I admit I only bought this because of the pretty Penguin edition and it's definitely not the right kind of book for me.
The prose is incredibly rich, lyrical and well-crafted, but by god was I bored.

The writing is beautiful, and the story complex, it feels like a dance or a song in itself. At first I was confused with the story, but once you let yourself follow its rhythm, and music, you are entranced by it.
