My favorite tragic Shakespeare plays. Iago is one of best written villains of all time. Brilliant.

Othello is a great insight into the world of Shakespeare. It shows the conflicts, social norms, and worries of his time. It has its moments where it reads like a fanfic, but all of Shakespeare kind of does to be honest. However, it is a pretty good play to study emotions and character motives. It's one of my favorite Shakespeare plays because of how the issues in the play can be seen in modern life. If you can get past the events and lines solely made for drama instead of the plot, Othello is a great play.

Shakespeare's Othello is regarded as both his greatest and most relevant tragedy. Despite being written hundreds of years ago, all of the subjects covered in this play are still very relevant today. If we read between the lines in this book, we may detect various levels of deception, betrayal, resentment, and even bigotry.
