This is a great read if you like college romance, great platonic friendships, & lots of smut lol. I thought this story was really cute.

The exploration of communication and therapy in both relationships in within the self was extremely well done, and was definitely my favorite part of the book. Definitely add this to your TBR.

Icebreaker is the perfect read for a cozy day when it‘s cold outside and you can watch snow falling down 🥰 It has the perfect setting and I would absolutely loveee to stay at Nathans House in the mountains ( incl. Nate ;))
I especially loved the side characters who have stolen my heart ❤️
I can’t wait to read the novel about Henry because I love him so muuuch <3
The characters are definitely the ones who kept the story going because the plot was often kind of boring | The reason for my lower rating is actually that I became bored by the missing plot ( And I didn‘t like Anastasia in the beginning :0)
Nevertheless, it was a relaxing read for in between and I loved to get to know Nate Hawkins !
I wouldn‘t change a single thing about him <3

It’s just not very good. Every criticism I’ve heard of this book holds up. It’s too long, it is in dire need of better editing, the narrative was all over the shop. It’s not a hockey romance - if anything it’s a figure skating romance - it’s sorely lacking in both hockey and romance. The smut wasn’t even particularly good. I’m not sure how this book ended up getting all of the hype that it has when there are so many better alternatives in the market. It reads like a Wattpad story, and IMO, that’s where it should have stayed.
