“The only time I ever want to see a grown man on his knees in front of me, Nate, is when his face is between my legs. So no, I don’t want you to beg me.“

This was an amazing read which I would have devoured in three days if I was not planning to go on a trip. I was able to finish it in Japan and happy to find out why it’s a popular booktok/bookstagram read! It did not disappoint because I was laughing, swooning, learning and falling in love with how Anastasia and Nathan are as a couple. A match-made in heaven, definitely.

Must be something about an enemies to lover that makes me root for them so much more. All the banters and especially when their friends (specifically the roommates) join in on the funny moments. You can’t help but be jealous of their friendship that will for sure go on for years. Also, the author is out there cooking a book specially for Henry, our bb!

The sexual content was also on point. Compared to erotica books out there, this is mild. Hannah balanced out the smutty scenes with the non-smutty scenes perfectly. The smut scenes were just the right amount of details and to be honest, not really the plot. It’s literally there to spice it up so much which I’m sure I’m not the only one who loved it.

10/10 will recommend to people who’s looking for a good book with smut content.

Obsessed with this!! Nate and Anastasia have my whole heart <3

Theirs is such a healthy and mature relationship — they talk about their issues, they get over fights/missteps and trust eachother in most things.

The author brings us an unusual take on iceskating romance because Anastasia's partner is an absolute dick, so she falls for the guy he hates instead! You go girl

I would like to say I loved the supporting cast but honestly, expect for Robbie, Henry and Lola I couldn't keep any of them or their stories straight, hopefully that will become better as the series goes on.

Imo the third-act fight was blown out of proportion and I hate to be that person but I was on Nate's side! Still, it was handled maturely, I'll give them that.

The spice was *chef's kiss*. Should not have been in company listening to this.

It's refreshing to see two main characters in competive sports,
and to see the subjects of therary and eating disorders tackled within the frame of romance
, but it felt the author wanted to cram too much into one novel - it could have been about 20.000 - 40.000 words shorter, with some of the themes used in other installments of this series.

Liked the secondary characters
yes, even Aaron, every story needs a villain
, hope to see some of them back.

1 really loved this book, for me it was just the right amount of plot and spicy scenes. Really touched the fanfic lover within!

I almost wish I would've stopped before the epilogue. I wish we got another chapter on their lives careers after college.

Spicier than expected but the way the whole plot ties the book together is beautiful. One of the finest romcoms I’ve read in a while.

I liked this even more on a reread. I still Aaron is a total a-hole and I maintain that Henry is the best character in the book😍 I did enjoy it more this time around because I knew what to expect going into it and this time I fully enjoyed the found family aspect.

--------------------------------

This book was unexpected. I've heard some mixed reviews but it was really cute and fun. I absolutely loved all the charaters and cannot wait to read their stories! I would gladly push Aaron off a cliff and not ever feel guilty about it. My favourite character by far was Henry, though😊 And no miscommunication trope, what a win! The only reason I am not giving this book 5 stars is because the actual storyline and the blurb did not really match up for me. Over all a great read.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: Frenemies to lovers, reverse grumpy / sunshine, college romance, sports romance, guy falls first.
POV: Dual - Anastasia & Nathan

I fell for the cute cover and the figure skater trope. As a young competitive figure skater these plots really call to me but this wasn’t everything I was hoping it would be.

Nate our MMC and captain of the hockey team is genuinely just *chef’s kiss. I loved him so much. He is completely.

Anastasia is our FMC and a talented figure skater aiming for the Olympics. I did take a little to warm up to her but I loved her in the end. Her take-no-bullshit attitude was fantastic and her positive talk about therapy was something you don’t see too often in books which I appreciated.

Due to a series of events the skaters and hockey players are forced to share the rink at UCMH, essentially where we pick up. As Nate and Stas get closer, Stas’ skating partner Aaron becomes more manipulative and emotionally abusive.

The chemistry between Nate and Stas was well written and I lived for it. The sex scenes - I don’t even have words. The were great! Even just the lazing around scenes showcased a beautiful relationship that literally gave me all the vibes. This is relationship goals right here.

The side characters were honestly just as good as Anastasia and Nate. The puckbunnies had my heart😍. There was definitely a diverse range of characters here and while it was fantastic to see I almost feel like some of the characters were only there to create diversity, if you know what I mean.
