I appreciated more of the worldbuilding from this book. Background on some characters was cool.
I still liked the first book better. Will have to see for the next one

I enjoyed this book better than the first. The spice in it is especially good.

I was really enjoying this series up until this bit:
“Shhh.” Mal kissed his ear. “Don’t say that.” He nuzzled Azrael’s chin up and pressed a hard kiss against the pulse of his throat and then down into his collar. “Just for once, let me teach you something. Let me make you a little more human.”
So, what, asexuals and other people who can't/don't have sex aren't human? Human enough?
I wish people would THINK before they say/write shit like this. Thanks for shitting all over people who don't have sex.

An awesome sequel! I really loved seeing how Mal, Jessica, and Azrael grow as people and learn about themselves and eachother throughout!
