Sometimes you read a book and just think, this was alright, but I just didn’t love it. There’s no real rhyme or reason, It’s just okay. That is how I felt about this book. I didn’t love or hate it. I didn’t really feel anything towards it. It was interesting but hard to get into. Every time I stopped reading, it took awhile to get back into the world that Engberg created. I wanted to like it more but I just didn’t connect with it.

Another great murder mystery taking place in lovely Copenhagen! Book starts and closes with a slightly jarring passage. Plenty of red herrings along the way, with a multitude of different characters interacting within their own plot lines. Same cast as in the first book. The only downside to many POVs is that you sometimes get drawn too into one character, and then forget their portion by the time you read about them again. However, the writing is excellent.
