I started reading this with no prior knowledge of the plot line and grabbed it simply because the cover was "pretty." To say I was surprised would be a massive understatement. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I got. With as pretty as this cover is, the story certainly is not. This story won't be palatable for many readers.
This book was pretty sick to read but I really enjoyed it. I devoured this book (pun intended). With how morally horrible the two main characters were, I was surprised to actually find myself loving them. The dark humor and conversation between the two had me chuckling. Some (most) lines and scenes throughout had me audibly saying "what the fuck?" I think part of the appeal of this book to me was how incredibly outlandish everything felt.
Also, a special shoutout to reading yet another book set in Ohio. I've decided that I need to start a tally of horror books that choose Ohio as their origin.

this book was gross, but short enough that it was bearable, i has my hand over my mouth in shock most of the time i was reading, but the writing was good

This reads like an edgy manifesto written by a socially inept 13 year old boy. I was bored despite the copious amounts of “fucked up” content. The prose left much to be desired. If I’m reading about someone fucking a dead baby - there’s gotta be some “oomph” there that makes me wanna blow chunks, yanno?

Somehow almost 3 stars if it didn’t scar me lol.
Had to finish the book, I put it down twice but ended up returning needing the end. Somewhat glad I did.
To try and put it simply this was not what you could call an enjoyable read, I did not have a “good” time I had…I had A time.
I can’t think of anyone I would EVER recommend this too. But if you’re interested and pick it up I warn you it stays in your mind and somehow you end up finishing the whole fu**ed up story.

This has got to be the most fucked up book I have ever read in my entire life. I honestly don’t know what else to say about it.
