Nancy was being a total jerk this time, also she wasn't really sleuthing that well and even I knew exactly who did it...:/

This was the book where I started to realize that these aren't very aptly titled. There is no "sabotage" -at- Willow Woods. There is some controversy stemming from it's destruction, but honestly I don't think the kids ever even step FOOT in Willow Woods.

Other than that: all of my previous statements about this series stand. They are too written down for the ages that Nancy, Ned, Bess, and George are supposed to be. It feels like I'm only getting half a story.

Another charming ND Diaries title! It does feel very passe to have the baddies be ~eco-warriors... the idea that caring about the Earth and the environment is radical politics would make this pretty unrelatable to gen z and gen-a. I also think it's funny that the Diaries posit George as unathletic when all of the other ND series have George as a sports-lover, but maybe I'm too steeped in the HER characterizations.

Nancy muddled her way through this one, going undercover as a HS student when she's in college. Odd tangent of her catching the attention of a younger guy (weird and unnecessary). She didn't even get the right perp in the end, and the ending had to conclude lazily with a timeskip. All the suspects were not compelling and just left frustratingly vague - didn't engage me at all.
