I I was actually a fan of Meg Cabot as a teenager. She had a way of telling of a story simply, but keeping you reading till the end anyway.
So when I was looking for a mild and casual read, I thought this book might be interesting.
Alright, the book's called 'Airhead' and you would think I would consider myself fairly warned.
But oh-my-god, I wish Cabot hadn't kidded herself that it was suspenseful to not even start the story for a hundred pages!
It takes 60 pages before the main character
Spoilereven looks at a mirror and realises she is now in a hot model's body
and it takes another 20[yes, a total of 80 freaking pages] before she is told that
Spoiler she(in her previous body) died
. I think if she had opened with these details, we would be kindly putting up with all the crap about dogs licking her face and guys holding her hand.
Two more books of this? I'm out.
I checked Goodreads to see if other people feel like me, and I found most of the plot points in the reviews actually tolerable. Except
Spoilerthe one about the brain transplant reminded me of Joey as Dr.Drake Ramoray from Days Of Our Lives

Like I said, I'm out.

so it's my second time reading this, but I read it a long time ago and I didn't even realize at the time that sequels were even a thing, and I remember being really disappointed with the ending, hahaha. This book was alright the second time around, definitely not something I would've typically picked up, but I feel like I owe it to my younger self to read the rest of the books, so that's what I'm going to do

This book is about Emm Watts a normal teenage girl who likes to play video games. One day her life changes. He body dies after getting hit by a falling object. But her mind is still alive. So her brain gets transplanted into a model's body. So now she lives the life of a model.

I liked it. Sort of a weird but interesting thing to read about. It's not the best book I've read but I would like to see where the story goes in the secound book.
