The plot and writing were so juvenile I think I may have rolled my eyes into a different dimension.

What was he, though? An "imaginary friend"? An angel? A hallucination? None of those made any sense to me. But I had no other answers.

Reading this book made me miss my non-existent imaginary childhood friend: Vito. Where are you?

Ok. I got this book from a fellow bookstagrammer because she was cleaning out her bookshelf. I didn't know what it was about atm. When I started to read the book, I found out that I've seen a clip of the movie (the scene where young Michael told Jane he was the prettiest girl bla bla idk) before but it's also different???
Spoiler In the book, Michael was 30-something when he first met Jane. But in the movie clip, they were the same age. Isn't the book kinda problematic? A grown man... With a nine-year-old girl...

First book of Patterson, that I have read. Love his romances! :) This is one of my favorites and cutest books I have read.

When we first meet Jane and Michael, Jane is a lonely little girl and Michael is her imaginary friend. With Michael life seems better but with the role comes the rule that he must leave when Jane turns nine. As tough as it is, Michael knows that the children always forget him once he leaves. That's how it works. However, when Jane meets Michael later in her thirties, it is clear that she did anything but forget him. Grown up, she is still as unhappy and lonely as before. But Michael changes that for the better.

From the moment I started this book I loved it and the short chapters made it even harder to put down (the "I'll read just one more" strategy). Sundays at Tiffany's managed to make me laugh, cry and even get mad all in the space of this one love story. A great read!
