I was flying through this book so fast! I was so invested. The cliffhanger was so intense, I can't wait to read book two!

Sebastian is dark and twisted, but he also has a sweet spot, which is Naomi. He accepts a bet from Reina that has something to do with Naomi, but in the end he falls deep and hard for her. Naomi is sassy and I loved her sarcasm, but she also has something dark in her. She is a little anti-social, hence why her mother wanted her to be a cheerleader.
I loved the chemistry between them, and that Rima put some Japanese themes in the story. Naomi was half Japanese, and both her and Sebastian liked anime. The spicy scenes are hot, but thatβs not something new, we already know that Rina knows how to write them very well.
The book and on a cliffhanger, and I canβt wait to read the second book in the duology. I have a feeling that we will find way more information and the truth in that book.
