There are some books that everyone needs to read and this is one of them.

I think this book's idea is great and well-executed. One thing that does lower the rating (only slightly) is that I struggled to actually picture the dragons, specifically their size. I'd try to imagine it but I was questioning myself, is it too small? too big? how can they carry a purse but not go through a door?. Nonetheless, it was a good book.

3.5 stars. I liked it, but parts dragged a bit. The ending was sweet. I loved the romance and lgbtq+ themes. There was something lacking for me and I can’t quite place what that is. I don’t like how much Alex stifled Bea, but I’m glad she finally supported her.

I liked the premise much more than the actual book itself. The repetitiveness made it hard to enjoy. Apparently when the narrator is a small child and young teen, everything “important” happening needs to be brought back up every chapter, just in case the reader has forgotten. The only people not miserable in this book were the dragons, and good for them.

Beautiful read, although I really disliked the PhD format. Loved the story, but hated the annotations by Gantz.
Loved how the mc reconciled w her childhood lover even if they didnt turn out to be endgame

The mc's drive almost made me excited to study physics (i fucking hate physics, it makes me want to drop out of uni. I have been at uni for 2 weeks).
