I didn't like this as much as the first, mostly because I didn't connect with Logan or Isabeau as much as I did with Lucy and Solange, but it was still a fun read. Logan is such a nerd for the 1800's, it's hilarious. Can't wait to see which Drake sibling is up next.

Blood Feud is the second book in the Drake Chronicles series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. I just loved getting to check back in with these amazing characters. I like how the author has different characters point of view in each of her story. It just lets you get a deeper look at some of the main characters whether they are new characters or previous characters. It just lets you fall deeper in love with them and you get to catch up with some of the previous one’s that you like to see again. I just loved getting to learn more about Logan Drake and Isabeau St. Croix and getting to see their journey and struggles. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The second book of the Drake chronicles follows Logan Drake and Isabeau St. Croix, and even though it was still good, I found myself not liking it quite as much as the first one. To me, it seemed like their relationship formed way too fast, they barely knew each other.

3.5 stars. Not as good as the first one, but still pretty enjoyable.

3.75; a lot more weighty than the last one i feel but also the characters were a lot more developed despite being about the same length. loved logan and isabeau and also really appreciate how harvey makes all these different character so unique. i feel like with a lot of series with so many characters, they tend to become kind of blurred (especially the males imo) but i really liked how everyone is so clearly different.
again the ending was kind of ? too easy ? but still a really fun read

Blood feud, this is the second book in the drake chronicles
In this book we follow different people then in the first. In the first we followed the drakes only daughter Solange and her best friend Lucy.
In thus one we follow one of the brother Logan and a older vampire born in the French revolution and bitten and turned then too called Isabeau.
Isabeau is not a standard vampire but a hound. They live in caves and have great big dogs live and serve them.
In this book we follow Isabeau as she tried to hunt down and find the Lord which turned her into a vampire and left her for dead centuries ago.
I love how it switched from the present to the past, so we can see just what Isabuea went through in the French rebellion before she was turned into a vampire and what happened when she was to hate the guy that turned her so so much.
This book was filled with mystery, love, betrayal, war and magic.
It was an amazing book and I cant wait to see what the next book bring to this series, and who we will follow next time.
