This is a super interesting premise and I was really into it for ~1/2 the book. It just got a little tedious. I feel like I was in it for the philosophy and potential for puzzle/problem solving, but I don't think that's what the author was in it for besides the base concept of becoming the devil everyone says you are.

First book I've read by Joe Hill. I really enjoyed it. I loved how the character Lee was written, thought the author did a great job of writing a psychopath.

Best fiction book I’ve read in a very long time. Loosely knew what the plot was about since I saw teasers for the movie but I was still captivated and very surprised as the story unfolded. The melding of past and present was done very well (not forced or confusing at all).
