SO FUN! Picked up the book thinking it was self help, kept the book for all the future individual-chapter-adventures of terribly terrific con women. This book came with me on subways, to the beach, to work, to the couch. Delight is the right word, I think. Highly recommend :)

A book full of interesting stories about conwomen, mostly from North America. Felt mostly like a lighter kind of true crime read, but at times I wondered if what the women needed was a psychologist instead of jail time. Very enjoyable, easy read!

It was an interesting and informative listen- almost like a bunch of mini podcasts. While the con artists took a dark turn at the end, it was interesting to learn about women who made their own way- even at the detriment of others

This was really compelling. Tori Telfer's writing is incredibly readable and entertaining and I think she approached these women's stories with nuance.
Some of these women were truly evil - enslaving immigrant girls and homeless people, murder, making people so miserable and hopeless they were driven to suicide - and Telfer painted clear pictures of their upbringing, their crimes, their motivations, and also the impacts on their victims.
Overall quite an interesting read. Definitely adding her other book to my TBR.
