i love the first half but i think the second half was just a little bit more information with some repeating things he has told before in earlier pages.

i begin to think that seth godins books are sort of repetitive, but at least his work are much better than kiyosaki's

So the book is simple. Recognize the difference between projects that are cul-de-sacs or cliffs and avoid starting them. Then realize that all projects have dips and power through them or quit before devoting too many resources. Where the book falls short is in helping to recognize the differences in projects.

I enjoyed the length. It felt the most cohesive of the books I’ve read by Seth (meaning his short statements can sometimes stand alone and in this case they do better together.) I didn’t feel as much of an ah ha with this book as I have with others (mainly The Practice.) It’s worth reading because of the length and maybe you need this thinking more than me.

Could have been even shorter because it repeats the same point, which is that you should quit early if you know that you will get 100% stuck later, which sounds like an obvious thing but in practice is difficult to apply. So on the whole it just left me confused.

Some people are proud of not being quitters, well sometimes quitting is the right thing to do. If you are considering quitting anything, this book will give you the push you need or convince you to stick it out. This book is a gem and a fast read. I love Seth and listen to his podcast Akimbo religiously.

Kind of pompous, but a good supplement to Fail Fast, Fail Often.

Extremely conscise. Great insight and a new perspective on the nature of quitting, changing the narrative from always negative, to having 2 potential sides.
